
Ingredients
12 | ounces chickpeas aka garbanzo beans, cooked, rinsed, and drained. |
2 | tbsp extra virgin olive oil |
1/4 | tsp salt (more or less to taste) |
1/2 | tbsp ground pepper (more or less to taste) |
1 | tbsp garlic powder (more or less to taste) |
1/2 | tbsp cayenne pepper (more or less to taste) |
1 | tbsp cumin powder (more or less to taste) |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
Blot chickpeas with a paper towel to dry them. Mix all seasonings with the oil in a bowl. Toss with chickpeas. Spread on a baking sheet, and bake for 15 to 30 minutes, until browned and crunchy. Watch carefully the last few minutes to avoid burning!
